1982: became the first Bulgarian guitar player to be Laureate of the Kutna
Hora International competition in Czechoslovakia;
1989: received his first prize as a composer;
1990 till present: writes theatre music for the Ivan National Theatre, the
National Palace of Culture and other Sofia theatres;
1996: at a national competition he was awarded as a composer for his guitar
work 'Three Miniatures';
1996: became a Laureate of the Third International Guitar Competition in
Plovdiv, Bulgaria;
1996: the Bulgarian National Television shot a film called
'The Oath' based on his music and with his participation;
1999: he teaches at the State Music Academy in Sofia;
1999: he is a member of the Bulgarian Composer's Union.
